One-piece molding

18mm wood flooring three-layer structure is formed into a whole by hot-pressing and gluing, and the edges are seamlessly processed to avoid moisture penetration.
Core advantages and performance comparison
Stability and adaptability
Anti-deformation ability: three-layer cross-laminated structure makes the floor expand less than 0.1% under temperature and humidity changes (30-70% RH), which is better than solid wood flooring (expansion ≥0.3%).
Underfloor heating compatibility: the thin design with a thickness of ≤15mm conducts heat evenly and has a temperature resistance range of 20-35°C. It is suitable for water underfloor heating or electric underfloor heating systems.
Moisture resistance: the core layer has low moisture absorption (≤8%) and the balance layer can regulate the humidity, which is suitable for basement and other humid environments.
Economy and environmental protection
Indicator Three-layer solid wood composite flooring Solid wood flooring Multi-layer composite flooring
Material cost About 50-70% of solid wood Higher (depending on whole hardwood) Slightly lower than three layers (base material is plywood)
Resource efficiency Precious wood for top layer only, fast-growing timber for core/bottom layer Low utilization of whole wood Substrate is plywood (high wood utilization)
Environmental certification Compliance with FSC, CARB NAF, Blue Angel (low formaldehyde ≤ 0.05ppm) Less certification (natural wood without glue) Need to pay attention to glue environmental friendliness (e.g. E0 grade)
Service life and maintenance
Surface life: 4mm hardwood layer can be refurbished 2 times, with a total service life of 25-30 years (under routine maintenance).
Maintenance cost: 18mm wood flooring only need regular cleaning (slightly wet mop) and applying water-based protective paint, no need for waxing.
Production process and technological breakthroughs
Structural innovation
Same species composite technology: the patented technology will be three layers of the same species of wood (such as all oak), the physical properties of the same, to avoid delamination and cracking.
Core layer optimization: the width of the core wood strip is 3-4cm, and the bonding strength between the layers is enhanced by high-frequency hot-pressing and gluing (gluing strength ≥1.5MPa).
Surface treatment
Nano-coating: UV lacquer superimposed with aluminum oxide particles, wear-resistant grade up to AC4 (commercial grade), scratch-resistant performance increased by 300%.
Antique process: hand-scraping pattern, smoky color and other surface treatment to meet the needs of retro or modern style.
Environmentally friendly technology
Water-based paint: solvent-free water-based paint (VOC emission ≤10g/L), in line with EU ecological standards.
Glue innovation: aldehyde-free glue (such as soybean glue) bonding, formaldehyde emission ≤ 0.02mg/m³ (far below the national standard E1 level).

Installation and construction points
Mainstream installation methods
Suspension latch: 18mm wood flooring suitable for concrete, tile and other flat grass-roots level, installation speed 15-20 square meters / day, DIY.
Gluing assistance: local use of elastic adhesive.
Adhesive aid: local use of elastic adhesive to enhance stability (such as wet areas).
Key construction requirements
Grass-roots flatness: the difference should be ≤3mm/㎡, otherwise it needs self-leveling treatment.
Environmental adaptation: 48 hours before installation (humidity 40-60%) to balance the water content.
Reservation of expansion and contraction joints: leave a gap of 8-10mm at the edge of the wall to prevent thermal expansion and contraction from arching.
